HAPPY HOUR IN POSITANO

Positano holds a special place in my heart. It is where my mother, sister, and I truly fell in love with Italy, and it was where we discovered the first products that we would later bring to America. In this virtual happy hour, Giovanni Assunta takes us on a stroll through the charming coastal town. I have known Giovanni since he was two years old-- his uncle’s ceramic shop, Ceramiche Assunta, was one that we visited on that first trip that changed the course of our lives.

Giovanni leads us through the winding streets of town, pointing out the shops, restaurants, cafes, and beaches that I’ve loved for so many years. I adore how Positano is saturated in color. From the deep blue sea, to the rainbow-colored buildings carved into the cliffs, to the bright chairs in restaurants, to the vibrant ceramic dinnerware, Positano is a celebration of vitality, enjoyment, and color. Our tour concluded with a limoncello toast to one another and a promise to visit again as soon as we are able.
